An Australian Christmas doesn't smell like the ones on the cards.
Most festive fragrance is built for a northern winter — woodsmoke, heavy clove, mulled wine, pine sap in a cold hallway. Beautiful in a closed-up house in December. Rather less beautiful at four in the afternoon in Melbourne when it's pushing 35 degrees, the back door's open and someone's carrying a pavlova outside.
The good news is that Scentsy's festive range has both ends of that. Here's how to tell which one you actually want.
The festive range splits fairly neatly in two, and which end suits you has less to do with taste than with what your December actually looks like.

Baking, spice and sugar. These are the fragrances that make a house smell like something good just came out of the oven, and they're the ones to reach for in the evening, in an air-conditioned room, or if your Christmas is deliberately the cosy indoor kind.

Green, cool and citrus-led. These read as unmistakably Christmas without adding warmth to a room that already has plenty. If you've ever found traditional festive scent too heavy in an Australian summer, start here.

We now stock both, and they suit different jobs.
Wax is warmed, not burned — no flame, no smoke, no wick to trim. That makes it the easy choice for a house with kids, pets or a curious cat, and for rooms you want scented while nobody's watching them. A Scentsy Bar breaks into cubes, so you can also mix two fragrances in one dish — a cube of Mistletoe Mint under Hearthside Holiday, for instance, to lift a heavy fragrance in warm weather.
Candles are for the table. They bring the flame and the flicker, which is half the point on Christmas Eve, and there are two festive Scentsy Candles this year: Christmas Cottage (clove-studded orange, mulled fruits and warming spices) and Snowberry (tart berries with frosted peppermint). Light them when you're in the room, and put them out when you leave it.

Worth saying plainly: a seasonal warmer is a decorative object that happens to make the house smell good. Warmers are the single biggest part of the festive range this year, which makes them the easiest thing to buy for someone who already has plenty of candles.
Some come back, some don't. A fair slice of this year's festive range has been around in a previous season — the Merry Little Christmas warmer returns from 2024, this time alongside a new white version, and the Blue Christmas Bar has been in and out since 2018. Others genuinely are one season only.
There's no way to tell from the outside which is which — and a favourite disappearing isn't always goodbye, since plenty of them turn up again a season or two later.
Which is what the Notify Me When Back In Stock button on a sold-out product page is for. Pop your email in and you'll get a one-time message if that exact product returns — that's all it signs you up for, unless you separately tick the newsletter box. Easier than checking back, and it means a returning favourite doesn't slip past you.
Order by 10 December. That's the date to work back from if you want it under the tree on the east coast. It's deliberately a safe date rather than the last possible one — the exact cut-off firms up closer to Christmas, and we'll update it here when it does.
Two other things worth knowing. Most of the festive range went on sale on 1 October. If anything below is still marked coming soon, it isn't sold out — it just hasn't landed yet. Those pages carry a Notify Me When Available button if you'd rather be told than keep checking back.
And to be straight with you: we're not going to tell you everything will sell out, because it mostly doesn't. The real deadline here is delivery, not stock — so work back from 10 December rather than panic-buying in November.
Buying for someone else? The Scentsy gift guide covers the whole range by budget and occasion, and the guide to Scentsy Buddies is worth a look if there are children on your list.
These lists update themselves, and anything not yet landed shows as coming soon. Prefer everything in one place? The full Christmas collection is all of it together.
