Scentsy Unplugged: Scent Paks, Scent Circles & Whiff Box Explained

Not every fragrance needs a power point. If you've read our guide to Scentsy Warmers, this is the other half of the range - the products that go wherever you go, no plug, no flame, nothing to switch on. People search for these under a few different names - "scent pak", "scent circle", "scent bags", "whiff box" - so here's what each one actually is.

What is a Scentsy Scent Pak?

A Scent Pak is a small fragranced bag - the closest thing Scentsy makes to a classic scented sachet, just with Scentsy's own fragrance blends. Tuck one into a drawer, wardrobe, gym bag or suitcase and it quietly scents everything around it. They're compact enough to travel with, and you'll also find one included free with every Scentsy Buddy.

Best for: drawers, wardrobes, bags and luggage - anywhere you want a background fragrance without a warmer.

What is a Scentsy Scent Circle?

A Scent Circle does a similar job in a more confined space - it's built with the car in mind. Hang one from the rearview mirror or tuck it near a vent and it replaces the usual little cardboard tree with an actual Scentsy fragrance. They work just as well in a wardrobe, a bin, a tent or an office too.

Best for: cars first and foremost, plus any small, enclosed space that needs a lift.

Scent Pak or Scent Circle - which one do I need?

Both are flameless, plug-free and mess-free, so the choice comes down to where the fragrance needs to live. A Scent Pak is the more general-purpose option - drawers, bags, wardrobes. A Scent Circle is purpose-built for smaller, enclosed spots, especially the car. Plenty of people run both: a Scent Pak in the wardrobe, a Scent Circle in the car.

What about the Scentsy Whiff Box?

This one's a different product altogether, even though the name gets searched alongside Scent Paks and Scent Circles a lot. A Scentsy Whiff Box isn't a fragrance format - it's a surprise assortment box. Each box is a flat $65 and includes five to eight sample and full-size consumable products (the things that run out), always including Scentsy wax and usually a Bar or two, with the rest pulled from Laundry, Clean, Body or on-the-go products. You can order one as a one-off, or add it to a Scentsy Club subscription for a surprise every time it ships.
