A topic that is trending all over social media and is truly blowing my mind lately?
Powerball!
No idea what I'm talking about?
In the US, the Powerball lottery jackpot has crept up to over 1 billion dollars. Yep, that's not a typo. $1.6 billion US dollars to be exact. And for the first time I think ever, the US is allowing Aussies to buy into this one Powerball draw.
And it's sending people into a frenzy! They're mad for it, spending hundreds on the one in a bazillion chance that they may be lucky enough to win a bucketload of cash.
This got me thinking.
It's crazy that most people will waste time talking, thinking and spending hundreds of dollars on something that only 1, maybe 2 or 3 people can win.
What would happen if they put that time, energy and finances into a business?
Or thought about how working for themselves, they could be FREE from debt someday?
Or maybe even how to invest to get out of their job?
What if people invested the money they blew on lotto tickets, into a Scentsy business, worked that business and it paid off EVERY month?
I commonly hear that people are too scared to start a business, for a variety of reasons. They can't afford to pour money into a business. They're too busy! What if they fail? Too scared of succeeding (yes, that's a thing!).
Yet, thousands upon thousands of people don't even think twice of handing over hundreds of their hard-earned cash, in the desperate hope that they may beat the miniscule odds of winning the jackpot. 292 million to one odds to be precise.
Doesn't sound so smart now, does it?
Close the odds, invest in yourself and earn your own jackpot!
