How to Buy Scentsy in Australia: A Step-by-Step Guide

Posted on September 1, 2026 by Jo Andreacchio

Buying Scentsy in Australia works a little differently to most online shopping, and I'd much rather explain that up front than have you discover it halfway through.

There's no Scentsy shop in the local shopping centre, and there's no single national website that takes your order. Every Scentsy order in Australia goes through a consultant. I'm one - so this site is my catalogue, and my Scentsy store is where the order is actually placed.

Here's exactly how it works.

Why there's no checkout on this site

This site is a catalogue. You can browse the entire Australian range here - every warmer, every fragrance, every wax bar, with proper photos and descriptions - but you can't check out here, because this isn't where the order is processed.

Scentsy handles that side themselves, through each consultant's own Scentsy store. Mine is evanescents.scentsy.com.au, and that's where your cart, your payment and your delivery details all live.

I know a catalogue that hands you somewhere else to pay sounds like a nuisance. In practice it's one click, and it means your order, your payment and your warranty are all handled directly by Scentsy.

Buying, step by step

Two screenshots showing the buying flow: step one, a product page on waxmelts.com.au with a Purchase button; step two, the same product on the evanescents.scentsy.com.au store with an Add to Bag button
1. Browse here. Take your time - this is the part the catalogue is good at. Everything is sorted by category, and every product page has the full description, the size, the bulb type where there is one, and whether it's currently available.

2. Click Purchase. On a product page it's the Purchase button; on a category page you'll see Buy Now underneath each item.

3. You'll land on the same product on my Scentsy store. Not the home page, not a search box - the exact thing you were looking at, ready to add to your cart.

4. Add to cart and keep shopping. You can add as much as you like over there, or hop back here to browse and click through again.

5. Check out. Enter your email, delivery address and payment details, and that's the order placed.

6. Scentsy ships it to you. Straight to your door, from their Sydney warehouse.

One thing worth knowing: the Purchase and Buy Now buttons only appear on items that are actually available. If a product page doesn't offer one, it's out of stock or discontinued rather than hiding the link from you.

Do I have to have a consultant?

You'll have one either way - that's simply how Scentsy is set up in Australia. Ordering through the buttons on this site means that consultant is me.

What you get out of that is someone to ask. If you're stuck between two fragrances, or you're not sure whether a warmer will suit the room, or something has arrived damaged, you can get in touch and talk to an actual person who knows the range. That's the part a shopping cart can't do.

Ways to pay

Payment happens on the Scentsy store. You can pay by Visa or Mastercard, with PayPal, or with Apple Pay or Google Pay if that's how you'd rather do it on your phone. PayPal also offers Pay in 4, which splits the order into four interest-free instalments.

A few of the questions I get asked most often have their own posts, because the answers have a bit more to them:

Afterpay - the reason Scentsy doesn't offer it is more interesting than you'd think.

Zip Pay - there's a way to use your Zip account even though it isn't a checkout option.

PayPal - including how to pay with American Express through your PayPal account.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Orders ship within Australia from the Scentsy warehouse in Sydney. Shipping is a flat $15 on orders up to $744.99, and free once you're at $745 or more.

There's a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, and Scentsy products carry a lifetime replacement warranty against manufacturing defects - which is unusually generous, and one of the reasons I've stuck with them. The full detail, including timeframes and how to arrange a return, is on the shipping, warranties and returns page.

If you order the same things regularly

Wax bars run out. So do washer whiffs, scent circles and light bulbs.

Scentsy Club lets you set up a repeating delivery of the consumables you get through, on a schedule you choose. It's free to join, there's no minimum, and orders over $56 get 10% off - at $112 you can add another Club product at half price on top.

It covers the things that run out rather than the warmers themselves, and you can change or pause it whenever you like.

Where to start browsing

If you already know roughly what you're after, Warmers & Wax is the busiest corner of the site and the best place to begin.

From there, Scentsy Wax Bars covers the fragrances, Diffusers & Oils is worth a look if you'd rather have fragrance without wax, and Laundry & Clean is the one people are always surprised by.

And if you'd rather flick through pages than click around, the current Australia / New Zealand Scentsy Catalogue is online to browse.

Browse here, order there, and shout if you get stuck.
